What Subnetsplit does with your data.

Nothing. The product runs entirely in your browser.

Subnetsplit is a client-side JavaScript application. Every line of CIDR arithmetic, every overlap check, every text and CSV export — all of it executes in the browser tab you opened. No data you enter (parent CIDR blocks, subnet requirements, or any other input) is transmitted to any server, stored in any database, or shared with any third party.

There is no analytics script, no tracking pixel, no session recording, no telemetry of any kind. The page makes no network requests beyond loading the page itself and the Google Fonts stylesheet (Barlow and Fira Code, served from Google Fonts).

Local storage

If you use the dark mode toggle, your preference (light or dark theme) is saved to your browser's localStorage under the key subnetsplit-theme. This value never leaves your browser. No other data is written to local storage, cookies, or any other browser storage mechanism.

You can clear this preference at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site.

What we do NOT collect

● No IP addresses are logged or stored
● No user accounts or profiles exist
● No cookies are set (beyond the theme preference stored in localStorage)
● No form submissions are transmitted — the mock checkout on the pricing page is client-side only and does not make network requests
● No server-side storage, logging, or processing occurs

Third-party services

The page loads two font files from Google Fonts: Barlow (display and body) and Fira Code (monospace). Google Fonts' privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy. No other third-party services are used.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be updated. Because no user data is collected, no notification of policy changes is necessary — but a change would be noted here.
